About Us

Anka Rent was founded in 2009 in Şişli, Istanbul, with 25 cars and a team of three. Our founder Selim Ağacan wanted to fix a problem he had lived through for years as a rental customer: the gap between the price in the quote and the price paid at handover. So from day one he made price transparency the company's core principle.

Our structure today

Today, with a fleet of more than 1,400 vehicles, we serve at Istanbul Airport, Sabiha Gökçen, Antalya, Izmir, Bodrum, Dalaman and Ankara Esenboğa airports and our Şişli head office. The average fleet age is 14 months; every vehicle is serviced at authorised workshops and passes a 30-point check before rental. Besides individual customers, we offer monthly and long-term rental to more than 300 corporate customers.

Our principles

• Transparent pricing: the quote lists vehicle charge, taxes, protection package and extras on separate lines.
• Photographed handover: the car's condition at handover is recorded with a digital damage check and photos so there are no disputes on return.
• Cleanliness and maintenance: after every rental the car is cleaned inside and out, and tyre pressure and fluids are checked.
• Uninterrupted support: in case of breakdown or accident we offer 24/7 roadside assistance, replacement cars and claims handling.

Sustainability

18% of our fleet is hybrid or electric; we aim to raise this to 40% and to install charging points at all our offices by 2028. We use recycled water in car washing, and by moving from paper to digital contracts we save 600,000 pages a year.
